Abstrak

The blood donation activity represents a form of community service that directly impacts the healthcare service needs, particularly in regions with low voluntary donor rates, such as East Nusa Tenggara Province. Universitas Kristen Artha Wacana (UKAW), in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) East Nusa Tenggara Region and GMIT Bet’el Oesapa Tengah, organized a blood donation event on February 15, 2025. This event was participated by 50 UKAW students, members of the GMIT congregation, and local residents. The objectives of the activity were to foster humanitarian awareness, develop the social character of students, and strengthen cross-institutional collaboration in supporting the resilience of the public health system. The implementation method included partner coordination, socialization, education, blood donation execution, and evaluation and documentation. The outcomes of the activity demonstrated positive results, including the collection of 50 blood bags, enthusiastic participation from attendees, and the reinforcement of social solidarity values. This initiative also created synergy between higher education institutions, religious organizations, and humanitarian bodies. The experience enriched the contextual learning of students and serves as an effective model for partnership-based community service.
